To make a payment go online to Xpress Bill Pay, by phone at 800-720-6847, the drop box located out front of City Hall or send a payment to 595 Silver Lace Blvd Fernley, NV 89408.

Minimum monthly water and sewer billing for typical residential (3/4 inch) service is base water under 1,000 gallons $46.80 and sewer $36.60. If you would like to look at the table for billing based on usage please see, Water/Sewer Rates (PDF)
Meters will be read as nearly as possible on the same day each month and bills are issued within the 1st week of each month. Bills are due by the 20th of each month. Services remaining unpaid for 30 days will be disconnected for non-payment. After three days of disconnection of service for non-payment, the account will be terminated.
Accounts that are disconnected due to non-payment of delinquent balances must pay the account in full in order to have service restored. By cash, credit/debit card or money order, checks will not be accepted.
The Service Interruption fee is $25.00
We cannot guarantee immediate restoration of service upon payment. if your water service has been disconnected and you have made the necessary payments by 12:00 noon on the day of service interruption, every effort will be made to restore service the same day before 5 pm. Service for accounts that are paid after 12:00 noon on the day of service interruption may not be restored until the following business day. returned checks received as a result of trying to avoid service interruption will result in immediate disconnection of service without notice and a reconnection fee will be imposed.
Note: Payment arrangements can be made in person or by speaking with a live representative by phone. Please be sure to speak directly to City Staff, in person or via telephone prior to disconnect day. Payment arrangements CANNOT be left via voicemail. Payment arrangements that extend beyond the scheduled disconnection date will only be made for full payment of the outstanding account balance with good account standing.
Equal Payment Plan
An Equal Payment Plan is available. An Application for Equal Payment Plan can be completed and sent in to apply the plan to your account.
